Join acclaimed Storyteller David Gonzalez as a zoo full of animals comes alive through speech, sound, mime, and dance in the performance of Aesop Bops! This fast-paced, funny, and audience participation-filled extravaganza teaches children about sharing and friendship. With such classic fables by Aesop as "The Lion and the Mouse," "The Fisherman and His Wife," and "The Turtle's Shell," the show features ample audience participation. David Gonzalez has performed at the Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University, London's Royal National Theatre, Broadway, Lincoln Center Institute, Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, etc. He has been featured at on Bill Moyers' PBS documentary Fooling with Words, and on NPR's All Things Considered; he was the host of New York Kids on WNYC for eight seasons, is a contributor to NPR's Studio 360, and has taught for 10 years NYU's School of Education.
