Planning Board

The Planning Board recommends to the City Commission whether or not specific developments conform to the principles and requirements of Zoning and Land Development Regulations and the Comprehensive Plan.  The Planning Board normally meets in Commission Chambers on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 P.M. Please check the agenda prior to a meeting to confirm time and location.

2016 Application Deadlines and Meeting Dates

All application deadlines are strictly enforced. The applicant must have an appointment with a Planner to submit the application. All applications must be submitted to the Planning Department office no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the deadline.  In order to be accepted, the application must contain all required items and information described in the application. Partial applications will not be accepted for placement on the Planning Board agenda until all such materials are submitted.
