HCD offers several programs to help with housing.
Home Purchase Assistance Program:
This program is designed to provide financial assistance of up to $60,000 to provide down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible Applicant(s) to purchase eligible housing units located within the City of West Palm Beach. This program closed December 8, 2017.
Residential Rehabilitation Program:
This program is designed to provide financial assistance of up to $50,000 to address repair items that compromise the life, health, and/or safety of households located within the City of West Palm Beach. This program closed April 30, 2018.
Housing Stabilization Program:
This program is designed to provide financial assistance of up to $3,000 to obtain safe, decent, and affordable rental housing within the City of West Palm Beach.

Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS:
The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Program is the only Federal program dedicated to the housing needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. The City has awarded grants to the Palm Beach County Housing Authority
and the Jerome Golden Center For Behavioral Health, Inc.
, in order to provide housing throughout Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach County Department of Community Services
contracts with local providers to offer services to people living with HIV/AIDS in Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach County HIV CARE Council
is a community based organization supporting local public participation in the planning for a system of medical and support services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
