An exciting new space designed for popular and growing arts programs is now open at your favorite downtown library!
This fall, explore your creativity with a variety of FREE hands-on arts and crafts
for adults from painting, drawing, and sculpture to crocheting, soap-making, and jewelry-making. Classes are open to all skill levels. All supplies are provided and registration is required. Please check the class description for the date and time that registration opens. You may register on the online calendar
with your library card or speak to a librarian (call 561-868-7701; no messages, please). You must arrive by the listed class start time to keep your registered seat.
Artist Drop-In & Equipment Training
takes place each Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. During these sessions, patrons can start using the studio for personal projects, to finish library projects, or to collaborate on new projects. Mediums of acrylic, pastel, or watercolor will be provided and while local artists will be present for guidance, there will be no formal instruction. Studio 411 equipment may also be used during drop-in sessions after participants have received their training. Participants can then use their own materials on the equipment. Seating is limited and sign-ups will begin at 5:30 PM.
We’re also excited to start a new series in September for Creative Entrepreneurs
focusing on accounting, marketing and branding for artists (visual, performing, literary, designers, etc.) seeking professional growth.
