Canoe Assistant

About this Volunteer Opportunity

Help as a canoe volunteer with a variety of public and specialty canoe outings. These canoe programs include school field trips, family outings, visiting camps and others.

Programs vary from one to three hours and are offered during the day, twilight and moonlight hours. Assist as back up support for our guided canoe outings as you help with setup/breakdown and during the canoe outing. This includes unloading canoes before the outing and getting supplies together for trip including radios, first aid kit, paddles, life vests, etc.

As the last canoe, you help keep the group together.
