Office/Data Entry Assistant

About this Volunteer Opportunity

This volunteer position is in an office setting with the Public Works/Sanitation division. The volunteer will answer phones, respond to residents' questions or direct calls to the appropriate staff. Additionally, the volunteer will work with data entry in automated programs, do filing and lift light objects (up to 25 pounds).

Requirements

  • A basic knowledge of office principles and procedures is required, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and others. The volunteer should be able to use office machines such as copiers, fax and computers.
  • The ability to pass a background check.
