Holiday in Paradise

Sandi, the world’s ONLY 600-ton sand tree, is back with quite the holiday “tail” to tell! A beloved South Florida holiday tradition, her fans eagerly anticipate her 35 feet of sculpted perfection and the fun-filled kingdom of Sandi Land. Sandi’s dazzling 2017 debut and her nightly music and light shows start at the November 30 Clematis by Night Tree Lighting, with a full lineup of special events and FREE family fun planned on the waterfront throughout the season. Sandi also shares the limelight with unique holiday happenings in downtown West Palm Beach, Northwood Village, and the Historic Northwest District.

Sandi’s 2017 adventure includes an all-out effort to assist in the adoption of her furry friends in Palm Beach County. In partnership with several local rescue organizations, Sandi will give holiday cheer to pets too. Word on the street is that cats and dogs will be “ho, ho, home” for the holidays!

During the holiday tree lighting, Sandi revealed a big new part of her personality and the next chapter in her 2017 story, “Sandi’s Holiday Tail.”  In true sassy, Sandi fashion, the surprise was as big as they come!

Since leaving her West Palm Beach home less than a year ago, Sandi fell in love and brought a new BFF home for the holidays – “Duke” – a fostered great dane mix. Affectionately referred to as a “great dane for a great dame,” the “Duke of Sandi Land” made his debut with much fanfare from locals and tourists. More than 10,000 people were on the Waterfront waiting for a glimpse of his 50-ton, 15-foot stature on Nov. 30.

Be sure to say hello to Duke down on the Waterfront, in addition to Sandi’s seasonal supporting cast of characters and activities, including additional sand sculptures, a “dressing room,” “Glow FORE It” mini golf, “Reindeer Games” Trivia Night, and dozens more of your favorite – and FREE – weekly and monthly City events. Be sure to mark your calendars for special events throughout the season, so you don’t miss any of the fun!

Come celebrate the Holidays in Paradise! We look forward to welcoming you to Sandi Land.
