CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH TO GRADUATE CLASS OF '18 SUMMER INTERNS
The summer internship program is now in its third year and is believed to be the largest program of its kind facilitated by a municipal government in our area.
WHO:                   Mayor Jeri Muoio, Coordinator of Community Initiatives, 30 Summer Interns
 
WHAT:                 A luncheon and graduation ceremony will be held for the 30-interns participating in the City of West Palm Beach Summer Internship Program. Mayor Jeri Muoio and Coordinator of Community Initiatives Kevin Jones established the program to provide job opportunities for young people to learn more about the inner workings of municipal government. The students attend local high schools and took internship positions in several City departments including Engineering, Public Works, Law, Sustainability and more. The summer internship program is now in its third year and is believed to be the largest program of its kind facilitated by a municipal government in our area. To be eligible for the program, students must reside in the City of West Palm Beach and also attend one of the community schools.
