CITY OF WPB POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES 36TH ANNUAL CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY
The Citizen Police Academy will instruct participants in specialty units that operate inside of the police department itself.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (July 23, 2018) – The City of West Palm Beach Police Department and the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission are set to host their 36th annual Citizen Police Academy. The Citizen Police Academy, which instills education and appreciation of law enforcement, will instruct participants in specialty units that operate inside of the police department itself. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a police ride-along and tour the police dispatch center.  The course will begin on September 24, 2018 and run through December 10, 2018, and classes will be held on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at several specified locations.
