The intersection will be closed through July 3, 2019
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (May 31, 2019) – The intersection of Clematis Street and Olive Avenue will close to motor traffic the morning of Monday, June 10, 2019. The closure is related to upgrades associated with the ongoing Clematis Streetscape project scheduled to continue through the summer.
The intersection will close at 6 a.m. and remained closed to cars as Clematis is modified to accommodate more pedestrians, bike traffic and extra shade trees. The road is scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019. The area will be open to pedestrians throughout the construction.
The Clematis Streetscape project is one of several joint projects between the City of West Palm Beach and the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. The project was designed with quality of life at the forefront and to ensure that the City’s downtown core evolves with the needs of residents, merchants, and visitors.
