A free app that will allow users to track the estimated time of arrival of the iconic red trolleys downtown.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (January 24, 2018)— Getting around on downtown West Palm Beach trolleys is about to get a whole lot easier, thanks to the West Palm Beach Trolley Tracker, a free app that will allow users to track the estimated time of arrival of the iconic red trolleys in downtown West Palm Beach. During her annual State of the City Address at the January breakfast of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches on January 24, 2018, Mayor Jeri Muoio unveiled the app which will go live in the next two weeks. The app will provide real-time information about trolley routes via mobile devices.
“There is more, good news to share, and this is for our trolley riders,” said Mayor Muoio. “You will soon be able to download an app to check on our trolley schedule. Use the Trolley Tracker to know when the trolley will be at your stop,” Muoio said before a crowd of 900.
The Trolley Tracker app will show trolley riders where their trolley is and when it will pick them up. It provides live locations of trolleys, arrival predictions and other important trolley route information. To create the Trolley Tracker app, the City worked with Ride Systems.
Stay tuned! Soon, navigating the trolley routes will be as easy as downloading the West Palm Beach Trolley Tracker. Remember to search for it in your iOS and android app stores!
