WEST PALM BEACH KIDS "SHOP WITH A COP"
Annual holiday tradition builds relationships, spreads holiday cheer
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (December 6, 2017)--The holiday season is already brighter for more than 200 West Palm Beach children who participated in "Shop with a Cop" at the Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard Target on December 6, 2017. Made possible by the West Palm Beach Police Foundation, the event treated the kids, who might otherwise go without some holiday gifts this season, to a shopping spree. The children of families registered through Vickers House were paired up with a West Palm Beach Police officer to 'shop with a cop'. This was the 6th year for this annual tradition, which helps foster positive relationships between children and law enforcement.
