WEST PALM BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT HOLDS SCHOOL SUPPLY FUNDRAISER
This is just one of many outreach efforts by West Palm Beach Police Department employees  to engage  youth and educators and make a positive impact on their lives.
The West Palm Beach Police Department will be conducting an amazing outreach effort by its Volunteer Coordinator Valerie Moore.  Valerie spearheaded this project a few years ago and chose this has her way to help our educators and the children they teach. During the summer, she purchased classroom supplies to help our local Palm Beach County School teachers,  Every year she coordinates with  Dr. Debra Robinson of  Palm beach County School Board District 7, the selection of two schools that will receive the charitable donations. This year, Roosevelt and Pleasant City Elementary schools were chosen.  

$1,000.00 in supplies will be donated and divided between both schools. This afternoon, at 2: 30 p.m., Valerie and Community Response Team officers, who donated the supplies themselves will be delivering to Roosevelt Elementary School during its Meet The Teacher event.

Thursday morning, at 9:00 a,.m, she will make her second school supply delivery to Pleasant City  Elementary School.
