WEST PALM BEACH SUPPORTING "STAND BY PUERTO RICO" RELIEF EFFORT
Through October 6th, residents can donate emergency supplies to support victims of Hurricane Maria
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (October, 12, 2017)--The City of West Palm Beach is supporting the "Stand by Puerto Rico" hurricane relief effort. Through October 6th, residents can donate emergency supplies to support victims of Hurricane Maria at these locations:  
· City Hall; 401 Clematis St.
· Fleet Services, City Complex; 1045 Charlotte Ave. 
· WPB Police Department; 600 Banyan
· Fire Station #1; 500 N. Dixie Hwy.
· Mandel Public Library of WPB; 411 Clematis St.

The City will also host a bake sale in the lobby of City Hall on Wednesday, October 4th from noon to 1:30 p.m. Donors can enjoy tasty, homemade treats and baked goods at the sale. Funds generated from this event will go toward the purchase of supplies to help storm victims. 

Items and emergency supplies needed in Puerto Rico include: baby food, blankets, baby formula, can openers, pet food, snacks, flashlights, sanitary items, water filters, first aid kits, adult diapers, baby diapers, canned food items, and batteries. 3.5 million residents of Puerto Rico need help after Hurricane Maria caused catastrophic damage leading to shortages of life's basic necessities.
