WPB PUBLIC UTILITIES: NO BOIL WATER NOTICE ISSUED FOR WATER MAIN BREAK
Despite initial concerns this morning that a precautionary boil water notice would be issued to some customers, neither a boil water order nor a precautionary boil water notice was ever issued to residents.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (September 20, 2018) -- The City of West Palm Beach Department of Public Utilities is actively working to repair a water main break in the area of Georgia Ave. and Nottingham Blvd. in the City of West Palm Beach. Despite initial concerns this morning that a precautionary boil water notice would be issued to some customers, neither a boil water order nor a precautionary boil water notice was ever issued to residents, since the City is not aware of any customers that lost water as a result of the break. Residents who have questions about this may call the City of West Palm Beach Mayor’s Hotline at (561) 822-2222.
