Native Plant Sale Helps Residents Learn How to Keep Yards Healthy During Water Restrictions

03/27/07 – The City of West Palm Beach’s Grassy Waters Preserve will host a native plant day and sale on Saturday, March 31, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Everglades Pavilion at Grassy Waters Preserve, 8537 Northlake Blvd.  The sale will be held on the north side of Northlake Boulevard.

This immensely popular event features thousands of native Florida plants.  Among the items on sale are native plants that require minimal watering, trees and shrubs that attract birds and butterflies, and wildflowers.

Visitors can also take advantage of the many educational opportunities, including learning how to use water-wise native plants to help maintain a healthy, low-maintenance yard during water restrictions.
