Vince Neil to Perform at Clematis by Night for another Feel Good Night

(March 6, 2008 – West Palm Beach)  Clematis by Night and the Downtown Development Authority are pleased to announce that they will be hosting celebrated rocker, Vince Neil, for a FREE concert on Thursday, April 3 in Centennial Square.  Vince Neil has been touted as one of rock ‘n’ roll’s quintessential front men and more recently as one of the investors in the downtown revival.  Having performed in West Palm Beach this past January for the opening of his Clematis Street bar and grill, Dr. Feelgoods’, Vince Neil will now bring a second concert to West Palm Beach fans at the City’s hottest spot for live music, Clematis by Night.

After twenty years and a dozen albums, Vince Neil kick-started the rock n’ roll hearts of several generations of fans as the front man of Mötley Crüe, one of the most dynamic and energetic bands to ever grace the stages of rock ‘n’ roll.  As the lead singer of this legendary hell-raising band, Vince Neil and Mötley Crüe created THE rock sound of the `80s and influenced scores of other bands with multi-million sellers such as Shout at the Devil, Theatre of Pain, Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood.  The band separated after over a decade together only to reunite again in 1995 with even more success, setting up its own label, Mötley Records, and re-releasing expanded editions of its entire catalog as well as two new studio albums.  Their best selling tell-all autobiography, The Dirt, will soon be made into a feature film.

While the band takes a well-deserved break, and before beginning work on a new Mötley Crüe album and tour, Neil has been keeping busy with a number of side projects including the reality show The Surreal Life, some appearances on network TV shows, and being a camp counselor at Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp.  This savvy businessman also stays busy with a tattoo parlor in Las Vegas, his own Tequila company, West Palm’s own Dr. Feelgoods’ and performing solo concerts on the road.  Vince Neil is unstoppable both on and off the stage, and he’s bringing that energy back to West Palm Beach for another feel good night!

Opening for Vince Neil is the much buzzed about local band, Hollywood Lovescene.  This new pop/rock band with a hint of nouveau punk is infectious with its new brand of music. Since the release of their first EP, Hollywood Lovescene has licensed their entire album to MTV which continually features their music throughout MTV shows such as “NEXT” and “EXPOSED,” and many more.  This group of young and talented songwriters is destined to make a scene in pop music.  A portion of this evening’s proceeds will benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Clematis by Night is a FREE weekly event that features great music, mouth-watering foods, sidewalk shopping, and fun in the fountain every Thursday night from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. in Centennial Square, downtown West Palm Beach.  The Clematis by Night April 3 concert with Vince Neil is produced by the City of West Palm Beach in partnership with the Downtown Development Authority and brought to you by Dr. Feelgoods Rock Bar & Grill, Wachovia, Clear Channel Radio, The Palm Beach Post, La Palma, Schumacher Automotive, WPTV NewsChannel 5, Coca-Cola, Coors Light, Heineken, Samuel Adams, the West Palm Beach Marriott, and many others.  For more information, please call the City of West Palm Beach Community Events Division at 561-822-1515 or visit the website at
