As part of the continuing effort to embrace technology and deliver valuable information to as many residents as possible, the City of West Palm Beach will carry Mayor Lois J. Frankel’s State of the City address live on the City’s award-winning website, wpb.org.
“I encourage anyone who is unable to join us in person to log on and tune in to the State of the City address on-line,” said Mayor Frankel.

The State of the City breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009; the program beings at approximately 8:00 a.m.
In 2008, West Palm Beach was ranked second in the nation in the Digital Cities Survey, which ranks cities for their use of digital technology. The award is given by the Center for Digital Government.
The Chamber of the Commerce hosts the annual address, which is attended by approximately 1,000 people and is sponsored by Grand Bank & Trust of Florida. The address will be replayed in its entirety on West Palm TV (Comcast Channel 18) and is available for on-line viewing at wpb.org.
