City Project to Create Jobs, Improve Neighborhood

(04/13/09)  City officials and neighborhood leaders will kick-off a major neighborhood improvement project at a ceremonial groundbreaking on Monday, April 13, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Martin Avenue and Hunter Street in West Palm Beach.

The $12.7 million project is expected to help stimulate the local economy by creating more than 100 jobs.  Workers will be improving drainage, modernizing water pipes, resurfacing streets and improving sidewalks throughout the Broadmoor neighborhood.
