As a result of support from the Scotts Miracle Gro Company, Keep America Beautiful, Plant A Row for the Hungry, the National Gardening Association, Franklin Park Conservatory and the Garden Writers Association, the City of West Palm Beach will open a new ORGANIC Community Garden complete with “education stations” for students to learn how to grow fruits and vegetables. Some of the produce will be donated to feed the homeless via The Lord’s Place.
Join Mayor Lois Frankel, WPB City Commissioners, over 100 students and other dignitaries as they dig in and place the first plants beginning this large community project.
