(Friday, June 11, 2010) From an interactive costume show to playtime in the fountain, families looking for something fun to do this weekend should head to the West Palm Beach Waterfront.
“Splash Saturday” gets underway on Saturday, June 12, and lasts from noon to 2:00 p.m. Kids can play in the fountain in Centennial Square and participate in exciting activities on the great lawn—all free of charge. Your kids are sure to have a great time, and parents can join in as well.
There’s a special twist to “Ice Cream Sun-day’s” on Sunday, June 13: head to the Lake Pavilion at the corner of Flagler Drive and South Clematis Street to catch one of two free performances of “The Holy Cow, Mr. Pig and Bully Show.” This interactive show features performers in costume dressed as farm animals and is sure to have your kids smiling and giggling. “Ice Cream Sun-day’s” also features art activities for kids of all ages and dozens of wonderful ice cream flavors available for sale. The fun starts at noon and lasts until 2:00 p.m. “The Holy Cow, Mr. Pig and Bully” show takes place at 12:30 and 1:30.
