How can West Palm Beach be as “green” as possible? How can the City and the people who live here save energy, create green jobs and protect our natural resources? The City of West Palm Beach’s Green Task Force will present City Commissioners with recommendations for a sustainable West Palm Beach and a call to action to our community at large at a Commission Workshop on Monday, July 19, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. The workshop will be held at Commission Chambers in City Hall at 401 Clematis Street.
The City Green Task Force has spent months studying City operations and procedures to identify steps that can be taken to guide West Palm Beach to a sustainable and environmentally-friendly future. The Task Force will discuss recommendations for saving water, creating green jobs, promoting renewable energy and more.
