Sunday at the Meyer
Hit Concert Series on the Palm Stage for Sunday’s “Jimmy Buffett” Tribute Show
Parrotheads, be sure join us for a taste of Margaritaville as “The Caribbean Chillers” take over the Palm Beach Post Sunday at the Meyer this weekend! The Chillers will recreate everything you’ll see, hear and experience at a real Jimmy Buffett concert… all for free! South Florida’s best FREE concert series this Sunday, August 22, 2010, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Since the Meyer Amphitheatre is under renovation, “The Caribbean Chillers” will rock downtown West Palm Beach at the Palm Stage by Centennial Square’s Clematis Fountain on the new West Palm Beach waterfront.
Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and coolers, or they can also purchase food and beverages at the concert. Guests also get free Chick-fil-A brownies handed out by Mayor Lois Frankel. You’re welcome to travel to downtown by boat, docking free of charge at one of three new City docks along Flagler Drive. The event is one of the best bargains you can find in family entertainment: the show is free, parking in all City lots and at City meters is free and there are free kid’s activities! The Palm Beach Post Sunday at the Meyer is produced by the City of West Palm Beach, Mayor’s Office – Division of Community Events.
