Northwood Village is a community embracing creative, artsy and edgy elements that enhance its rich historical roots. On Friday, September 24th during the Art & Wine Promenade the “new” and the “old” will be celebrated. The davidKspace will produce Northwood Village’s version of New York’s modern Fashion’s Night Out featuring a very special fashion/art show throughout the Village. Watch as Northwood Road turns into a runway for models adorned in Georgette Pressler’s Devious Body Art, with wallpapers from The Sunflower Room and fabrics from My New Old Chair, folded, poofed, curved and sculpted into wearable art; contemporary wire-art dresses by Jackie Tufford; and stylish attire and accessories from Emilie- Marie, Northwood Boutique, Nancy’s Vintage Warehouse, Northwood Glass Art & Gifts and etc. Then, in keeping Florida’s art history alive, The Purple Bougan Villa will host Issac Knight and his legendary Florida Highwaymen paintings.

In addition to the Art & Wine Promenade’s signature elements (interactive art projects, streetside artist trunk shows, live music – including Acoustic Remedy this month and 17 free wine tastings) visitors will enjoy two extra art installations. At Jade Kitchen original lithographs by Alekos Fassianos will be on display with sales benefitting the Lord’s Place and, at gardenhouse, a tropical jewelry line, Calypso Sea by Tanya Burnett, will be featured.
