WPB Library, Mayor Supporting World-Wide Reading Campaign

When:  Thursday, October 7, 2010, at 10:30 a.m.
Where:  WPB Library, Third Floor, 411 Clematis Street

(10/04/10)  City of West Palm Beach Mayor Lois J. Frankel will help support and increase early literacy in the West Palm Beach community by participating in Jumpstart’s national initiative Read for the Record on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. on the third floor of the West Palm Beach Public Library.

The Mayor will be a special guest reader in Jumpstart’s world-record-breaking campaign, which brings children and adults together to read the same book, on the same day, in homes and communities all over the world.  All of Palm Beach County will be participating and we need you to start off a full-day of activities and fun at the West Palm Beach Public Library!

Please join Mayor Frankel as she reads The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats to a group of area preschoolers at the West Palm Beach Public Library!
