Fighting Crime with New Cameras

The City of West Palm Beach will be installing multiple surveillance cameras that will cover the entire span from City Place down Rosemary to Clematis down to Flagler and the Waterfront.

The city is also purchasing portable wireless cameras to use at special events and for placement as needed throughout the city. Officers can access these cameras from inside patrol cars and control camera movement and zoom.

The new equipment is being purchased with a very generous $100,000 grant from the Target Stores Safe Cities program.
