Share Your Input on the Next Chief of Police

The International Association of Chief of Police, Inc. (IACP) has been contracted by the City to conduct the search for the new Chief of Police.

On January 18 & 19, 2012 representatives from IACP will be visiting the City to conduct meetings with citizens, neighborhood representatives, business leaders, City officials, and other City personnel. The purpose of these meetings is to identify the knowledge, skills and abilities needed and wanted of the new Chief of Police, as well as the experience, education, and training required. Your participation will help us identify the challenges of the incumbent and what is to be accomplished short and long range.

It is with the assistance of the different community groups, business leaders and citizens that we will be able to select and hire the most qualified candidate as the new Chief of Police.
