Need a Place for the Kids on Election Day? Try WPB’s Camp “TGNS!”



If you’re a parent who needs somewhere

to keep your kids busy on Election Day, look no further

than the West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation!


The City of West Palm Beach is reopening Camp “TGNS” (Thank Goodness No School!) for children who have the day off from school on Election Day.

Under supervision, the kids play sports, spend time in the game rooms, do arts and crafts projects, and more!

If you have school aged children the City of West Palm Beach will be having a TGNS day (Thank Goodness No School) at the following locations:

South Olive Community Center

345 Summa Street

(grades K – 8)


Gaines Park Community Center

1500 N. Australian Avenue

(grades K – 5)


Howard Park Community Center

1302 Parker Avenue

(grades K- 5)


The cost is $15 per child for city residents, and $25 per child for non-residents. The hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.


Due to space limitations, it is recommended you call 804-4900 to register your child before Election Day. A credit card will reserve your spot. 


If you are registering your child(ren) to attend, remember to pack a lunch, beverage and snacks.
