(Daytona Beach, FL) – Today West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio took her fight for jobs and a new Florida industry to Mori Hosseini, the Vice Chair of the Florida Board of Governors.

During a closed-door meeting in Daytona Beach, Florida, Mayor Muoio explained how removing the Florida State University Digital Media program from West Palm Beach would abruptly and permanently put to an end to a three year process that today promises real, concrete, measureable results, the creation of a new industry cluster in Florida, and new jobs for Florida workers.

Following the meeting, Mayor Muoio led an economic development team to Orlando where the City of West Palm Beach spoke to members of a select committee of the Board of Governors on the same issue.
