(West Palm Beach, FL) – Today West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio announced she has asked the head of the Florida Department of Transportation to appear before city leaders and members of the public to answer questions surrounding the closure of the Flagler Memorial Bridge.
Mayor Muoio said Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Ananth Prasad will appear before the City Commission on Tuesday, March 19th at 4pm in the City Commission chambers.
“He is going to present to us their plan, and talk to us about what it looks like from their point of view,” said Muoio.
“I am sure we’ll ask them some questions about timelines and costs and how are they going to help us make sure traffic moves smoothly through our city and people get to where they need to get to, and that the public is safe,” added Muoio.
The public is invited to attend the meeting.
