(West Palm Beach, FL) – At a rally in downtown West Palm Beach, Mayor Jeri Muoio called on Congress to pass tougher laws regulating who can purchase a gun.
Calling it “common sense legislation,” Mayor Muoio said simple changes in the law would save lives and protect citizens from, as she said, the “horrors of senseless gun violence.”
Among the measures the Mayor urged lawmakers to pass were tougher, more comprehensive background checks for all gun sales, including sales made during gun shows.
