(West Palm Beach, FL) – A new show hits the air today that is the first in a new series of programs intended to provide the public with new, up-to-date, useful information about City of West Palm Beach programs, issues and opportunities.
The City television station TV 18 (seen on Comcast channel 18 inside the city limits) is now airing the premiere episode of “City Fun”, an in-depth look at the programs and places in the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation.
The 30 minute show is the first in what will be four new shows every month airing on TV 18. Each show will highlight a different department in the City. The goal is to produce several hours of new, local programming to keep residents and visitors informed about what the City is doing.
“There are so many great things that happen in this city every day and in every department,” said West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio. “So much of it happens behind the scenes, but these shows will be a terrific chance for the public to learn about what the City offers and how it operates”
“City Fun” is currently airing three times per day, at 6:30am, 1:00pm and 6:30pm. As more shows about other departments are produced, they will be included in TV 18’s 24/7 broadcast schedule.
The shows can also be watched on the city’s YouTube Channel, “WestPalmTV.”
