(West Palm Beach, FL) – A major medical company reportedly has announced it is leaving its Boca Raton location, and moving its headquarters to West Palm Beach.
Watermark Medical has reportedly merged with Sleep Med, described on their website as the largest private sleep diagnostics provider in the nation. According to the Palm Beach Post, the combined company will have revenues of over $100 million dollars, and the number of local jobs will increase five fold.
“This is exactly the kind of industry we are targeting, and exactly the kind of positive news that shows how the City of West Palm Beach has turned a corner regarding business recruitment,” said West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio. “We welcome Watermark to our city, and look forward to many more following in their footsteps.”
Currently, Watermark has a national direct sales force of more than 30 sales representatives covering all 50 states and approximately 2,000 distribution sales representatives.
The medical research industry is one of the key targeted industries the mayor has focused on as part of her economic development strategy.
