(West Palm Beach, FL) – Following the latest incident at the 45th Street Flea Market, West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio announced today the city has a plan in place to deal with the crime and violence.

“After this latest incident, we are all frustrated and upset.  I asked for a meeting involving several parties, including police and code enforcement.  They have met this past week, and they have a plan to deal with it,” said Mayor Muoio.

For security reasons, details of the response plan were not publicly discussed.

West Palm Beach Commissioner Sylvia Moffett said it is more than just a police issue.

“I agree,” said Muoio. “That is why I’ve asked for several agencies to work together to solve the problems.”
