Special Meeting on Pioneer Traffic Circle This Wednesday

Pioneer Plaza

October 21, 2013

(West Palm Beach, FL) – The latest unveiling and discussion of how to possibly redesign the Pioneer Plaza traffic circle is set for this Wednesday.

In response to neighborhood requests, the City has been holding public meetings to find out whether there may be a better design for the Pioneer traffic circle on Olive Avenue next to the Norton Museum.

“The meetings have been about discussing either to redesign or replace the circle,” said city Traffic Engineer Brian Collins. “The intent of the project has been to develop two generic alternatives and select one of the alternatives to be designed and constructed.”

The meeting will be held Wednesday, October 23rd at 5:30pm in the Flagler Gallery at City Hall, 401 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach.

The public is invited and encouraged to participate.
