Mayor Muoio Names New City Administrator

(West Palm Beach, FL) – West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio announced today her pick for the new City Administrator.
Mayor Muoio, in an email to all city employees announced she has asked Jeff Green, the city’s current Finance Director, to be the next City Administrator.
“As you may know, Jeff has been the architect behind the city’s new five year strategic plan, a fiscal and policy roadmap unlike anything this city has had in the past,” Muoio wrote to employees today.
“Jeff has also skillfully and successfully navigated complicated waters to ensure the past two budget years have resulted in a balanced budget and a financially strong city with no reductions in services upon which our residents depend.”
Green is a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty five years of financial management experience, including six years with a big five international public accounting firm. Jeff has served as a CFO in both the private and public sectors.
“My selection reflects a commitment to continue our city’s history of solid financial stewardship. A strong fiscal foundation is essential to continue our ability to serve our citizens,” said Muoio.
“Jeff represents my desire to continue the momentum our city is experiencing. He will be surrounded by the world class management team that already leads our city, ensuring a smooth transition.”
Jeff will assume the position as of November 11, 2013.
