New Flagship Retailer Moves To Downtown Clematis Street
April 3, 2014
(West Palm Beach, FL) – The largest retail deal to hit downtown Clematis Street in years is bringing a flagship shoe retailer to the heart of downtown West Palm Beach.
West Palm Beach Director of Economic Development Chris Roog confirmed Thursday details of the new deal first reported in the Palm Beach Post over the weekend.
Jupiter-based sports retailer Footwear & More is moving into a huge space – almost 10,000 square feet – at the corner of Clematis Street and Rosemary Avenue.
According to the paper’s Alexandra Clough, the parent company, Action Sports, located in Jupiter, has been in business for seven years. In addition to sportswear, Clough reported the store “will sell women’s fashion brands, such as Kenneth Cole, Nine West, Fergie and Dolce Vida . About 50 brands will be featured at the store, which is slated to open in July.”
“This is a great addition to our downtown area,” said Roog. “It will help continue to bridge together the two already successful areas of downtown Clematis Street and City Place. It’s also a unique draw for the area that you won’t find elsewhere.”
