(West Palm Beach, FL) – Did you see those giant butterflies near Parker Avenue and Hampton Road?

They are part of the newest water playground just opened by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.

From spray jets to above ground fountains, this wet and refreshing water wonderland has everything a child would want to cool off from the summer heat.

The new playground is part of one of the city’s newest outdoor spaces located near Parker Avenue and Hampton Road.

Kids of all ages are welcome, but younger kids need to be supervised by someone 18 years old or older.

If you’ve got a group of 25 kids or more (such as a summer camp group) and want to visit the playground, please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 561-804-4900 for a permit.

Restrooms, picnic tables and benches are available for use. Barbecues are not available at this time.

The facility will be dedicated once the new nearby multi-purpose fields are complete. They are not open at this time.
