Lake Pavilion

The Lake Pavilion located at 101 South Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach is part of the City Commons and Waterfront Promenade area. The Lake Pavilion is a LEED certified,indoor venue with a beautiful terrace surrounding the facility. Floor to ceiling glass walls on the three sides of the facility may be folded back to open onto the terrace area.

Centennial Plaza Fountain

In the heart of downtown, Centennial Fountain can accommodate visiting groups up to 75. A permit is required for groups
over 10 and can be reserved at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices, 401 Clematis Street.

Currie Park Pavilions

Currie Park is located on the Intracoastal Waterway on North Flagler Drive. This park includes the only boat ramps in the City, two medium shelters with grills, playground, large multi-purpose field and the MLK Memorial. This park offers a beautiful vista

Dreher Park

This park is also the home of the Palm Beach Zoo, the South Florida Science Museum and the West Palm Beach Garden Club. Park amenities include a Heart Parcourse, fishing dock, playgrounds, barbecue grills, sand volleyball courts, open play fields and 10 picnic shelters of various sizes.

This park offers the most diverse facilities of all. Conveniently located at Australian Avenue and 15th Street, situated behind the Community Center and Municipal Pool you will find five picnic shelters with barbecue grills and numerous sports facilities. This park is located at the main entryway to downtown West Palm Beach. Just 1/8 of a mile south of Okeechobee Blvd. on Parker Avenue, this newly renovated park’s amenities include a picnic shelter with barbecue grills, playground, exercise path, and numerous sports facilities.

This park is in the south end of the City offering a myriad of recreational facilities. South Olive Park is located at 345 Summa Street with one of the newest community centers, wet play area, playground, two picnic shelters with barbecue grills and numerous sports facilities.

*Wet Play areas require a permit for groups of 10 or more. Permits do not provide exclusive use of fountain or wet play areas. For groups of 100 or more a Special Event Application must be completed three months prior to the date you are requesting. Special Events that will be serving or selling alcoholic beverages require City Commission approval.


Warren Hawkins Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center is available after operating hours for private rentals for special occasions, celebrations and parties. A facility rental application must be submitted prior to your event and may be obtained at the facility. Please allow 3 weeks prior to your event for approval. Fees do not include staffing. Additional rates for the slide and wading pool will apply, please call for pricing.

 Fountain Reservations

The City of West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation requires a permit for groups of ten or more who want to use the Centennial Square and South Olive Park fountains. Two-hour permits are $25 plus tax for residents and $35 for groups outside city limits. The fountains can be reserved at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices at 401 Clematis St. and the South Olive Community Center at 345 Summa St. in West Palm Beach. The Centennial Fountain, located in Centennial Square at the south end of Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, can accommodate up to 100 people. This plaza includes benches, tables and chairs, as well as an interactive fountain that is a popular site for children’s play. Street -side parking and garage parking is available nearby.
The South Olive Park fountains are located at 345 Summa St., in West Palm Beach. Amenities at the park include a gymnasium, multipurpose field, outside basketball court, four racquetball courts, two playgrounds, wet play area, pavilions, tennis center with nine hard tennis courts, walking and bike trail, restrooms and a community center.

Upon arrival, the group leader must present the permit to the fountain guard. For questions regarding fountain reservation, permitting procedures, or to obtain a request form, please call the City of West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation at 561-804-4900.

Special Events

Special Events that are held on public and private property which require one or more city services, and/or will have an impact on traffic in the City requires a special event permit. There is an event fee and security deposit, which are determined based upon a point schedule.
