Families and children are invited to join Prime Time Palm Beach County for the Tenth Annual Lights On Afterschool Palm Beach County on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Clematis by Night in downtown West Palm Beach. Prime Time is planning fun and engaging hands-on activities, including those in the popular area of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) for children and their families to enjoy.Face painting and visiting with adoptable rescue kittens and puppies will add to the festivities. Children can also color and create their own unique light bulb artwork, and become cast members in a video in recognition of Lights On Afterschool Day 2014, and the important role afterschool programs play in their lives. Families will also enjoy access to valuable information from a variety of community organizations throughout the evening.

Limited bus transportation is available for pick-up at afterschool programs on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prime Time strongly encourages programs with their own transportation to take advantage of this special family engagement opportunity.
