Events requiring electricity must hire an electrician, licensed in the City of West Palm Beach. The City of West Palm Beach will strictly enforce the requirements of the National Electrical Code, Article 305, Temporary Wiring for all special
events. Electrical permit applications shall be submitted a minimum of four working days in advance of the event. This will allow for verification that all other required permits, licenses and insurance certificates have been obtained prior to the release of the permit.
