Summary of Services: The Mayor’s Department is the executive branch of city government and includes administrative functions, Administration, City Clerk, the Mayor’s Response Team and Youth & Family Services. This Department is responsible for providing direction to department directors, administering ordinances and resolutions of the City Commission, meeting the public and providing information on matters of community concern, and resolution of citizen complaints.
Summary of Services: The Division of City Administration provides leadership and administrative support to the Mayor in the administration and execution of policies and objectives formulated by the Mayor; develops and recommends solutions to community problems for consideration by the Mayor and City Commission; and plans, develops, and monitors programs to meet current and future physical, social, and cultural needs of the citizens of West Palm Beach.
