This 56+ acre park is named after A.J. Gaines, the City’s first black Recreation Director. This is the largest regional park within the City of West Palm Beach. It includes an Adventure Island playground, 7 hard tennis courts, 4 racquetball courts, 2 basketball courts, 4 baseball fields, multipurpose field for soccer/football/cricket, pavilions and picnic facilities, gazebo, outdoor stage, and walking paths. Park is home to the Gaines Park Community Center, Warren Hawkins Aquatic Center, and the Jimmy Horne Tennis Center.
