Planning Board

The Planning Board recommends policies for physical development and advises in the preparation of the Comprehensive Plan, and considers whether specific proposed developments conform to the Plan.

Application Deadlines/Meeting Schedule

The Planning Board normally meets in Commission Chambers on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 P.M. Please check the agenda prior to a meeting to confirm time and location.

All application deadlines are strictly enforced. The applicant must have an appointment with a Planner to submit the application. All applications must be submitted to the Planning Department office no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the deadline. In order to be accepted, the application must contain all required items and information describe in the application. Partial applications will not be accepted for placement on the Planning Board agenda until all such materials are submitted.

Planning Board Members

The Planning Board consists of seven members and one alternate member. Regular members may vote on any matter considered by the Planning Board at any regular or special meeting. In the event of the absence or inability to vote of one or more of the regular members, the alternate member may vote on any matter considered by the Planning Board.
