Certificate of Appropriateness Fees and Deadlines

All application deadlines are strictly enforced. All applications must be in the Historic Preservation Division’s office no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the deadline. Partial applications will not be accepted for placement on the Board’s agenda until all such materials are submitted.

Fee Schedule

Level 1 Review and all resubmittals (staff) $10
Level 2 Review (staff) $40
Board Review:
Alterations & Additions $100
Demolition $500 for primary structure + $500 consultant review fee for non-contributing structures
$250 for accessory structure
New Construction $350 + .01 per square foot
Relocation $100
Ad Valorem Tax Exemption $250
Individual Designation $125
District Designation
(designations require 30 day advertisement and will be placed on corresponding meeting date)
$10 per platted lot, up to $500
Appeal to HPB $100
Appeal to City Commission $200
Plaques $145
