Our holiday celebrations feature an entire month of special concerts and events on the West Palm Beach Waterfront around Sandi, our 600-ton holiday sand tree, to make this a unforgettable Holiday In Paradise.

Sandi lights up the Waterfront! Join us for the annual City of West Palm Beach Holiday Tree Lighting featuring “Sandi,” the world’s ONLY 35-ft-tall holiday tree made from 600 tons of sand that will illuminate downtown West Palm Beach during Clematis by Night. Santa will visit the event from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Come for the tree lighting and stay for a spectacular night of country music!

December 10 – Macy Kate
Macy Kate IMG_1412Pop songstress and YouTube sensation, Macy Kate returns to celebrate the holidays in West Palm Beach after her rained-out summer concert. While she became known for her covers of popular songs, Macy Kate has appeared on ABC’s Rising Star television show and has released her first original single “iH8 That.” She is well on her way to superstardom.

Santa will visit the event from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.



December 17 – Bobby Rodriguez Orchestra
Bobby RodriguezThe Bobby Rodriquez Orchestra is South Florida’s premier big band playing everything from swing and bebop to jazz, pop, and Latin.  This 19-piece orchestra is sure to liven up the holidays with classics from the Great American Songbook and holiday favorites.
Santa will visit the event from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

SOG_The Santa ClauseScreen on the Green gets a frosty upgrade this month with the addition of a nostalgic holiday favorite, Jack Frost, the 1979 stop motion animated television special starting at 6:30 p.m.  Kids can also join in the Present Parade by decorating cardboard boxes with wrapping paper and ribbon to become walking presents.  Come out starting at 5:30 p.m. to ‘wrap the kids’ as presents and the parade starts at 7:15 p.m. right before the feature movie around Sandi, our holiday sand tree.

The fun continues with a free outdoor movie screening of the family comedy, “The Santa Clause,” rated PG. The holiday tale stars Tim Allen as an ordinary man who accidentally causes Santa to fall off a roof and finds himself magically recruited to take his place.  Don’t forget to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to this theater under the stars.

Santa will visit the event from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

GM 11_FRESH ON THE WATERFRONTWest Palm Beach GreenMarket guests can take in “Sandi,” the holiday sand tree, during their market visits in December.  Patrons can shop for holiday treats and gifts while the kids play around Sandi as her fun spills over into a sandbox for kids.  Children can also enjoy Sandi Land activities during the greenmarket including mini golf and making tropical snowman starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays.  The market is open each Saturday throughout the holidays including Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.  Enjoy unlimited mimosas for $10, live music and more. Parking is free in the Banyan and Evernia garages during market hours.

December 12  Celebrity Sand Sculpting Competition
Local celebrities will compete with Mayor Jeri Muoio in a fun sand sculpting competition to accompany “Sandi,” the holiday sand tree. Celebrity teams will create their best sand sculptures to win money for their charity of choice.

December 26  Gift Giveback
Patrons looking to re-gift some items can re-gift for a good cause. The WPB GreenMarket will be holding a Gift Giveback allowing patrons to bring their unwanted gifts to the market where they will be donated to a local charity and bring smiles to others.

Aloha Islanders presents a Tropical Holiday Spectacular with authentic, high-energy Polynesian entertainment for all ages. The show is action packed with pulsating drums, beautiful hula dancers, and exciting Samoan fire-knife dancers. Enjoy a journey through Polynesia with a non-stop revue of dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa and New Zealand.

There will also be a conch blowing contest at 5:50 p.m. as part of the tropical festivities to see which contestant can blow their own horn the loudest.  The West Palm Beach Holiday in Paradise will come to life with this unique island-style entertainment set against our stunning tropical backdrop.  Don’t forget to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to this outdoor event.
