In response to the recommendations of the ULI’s TAP, the City decided to form an Implementation Committee for South Dixie. On June 18th, 2012, City Staff held a public meeting to make all interested parties aware of the ULI TAP recommendations and of the upcoming establishment of the South Dixie Highway Implementation Committee which would be composed of representatives of the residents, property owners, and businesses in or around the corridor. A few weeks later, the City formed the South Dixie Highway Corridor Implementation Committee consisting of the following members to provide for an implementation strategy for the ULI recommendations:

Since its first meeting in September, the Implementation Committee has been discussing the ULI recommendations and determining which are applicable within certain areas of the Corridor. Regular Committee meetings are usually held at City Hall on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Final Report by South Dixie Implementation Committee
