Help to beautify and restore your watershed with Grassy Waters Preserve
Volunteer and make a difference in a new restoration project in Apoxee Park planting native Cypress trees. Learn about the benefits of restoration, which helps improve our water quality and wildlife habitat. Enjoy the beautiful views and visit our southernmost Preserve area known as Apoxee Park.
This project involves working in areas in and around
the water’s edge so you will get wet and muddy.
When: Saturdays, November 16TH & 23RD
Time: 8:30 AM sharp until – 12:30 PM
Where: Meet at the entrance of Apoxee Park
3125 Jog Rd, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411
Apoxee Park is located on the west side of Jog Road approximately 1 mile north of Okeechobee Blvd.
What to Bring: Refillable water bottle, outdoor appropriate clothing,
closed-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen required. We will supply gloves and shovels; however if you have a shovel please bring it labeled with your name.
