PARK(ing) Day is an annual global event in which citizens, artists and activist collaborate to transform parking spaces into PARK(ing) Spaces. These spaces are creative and innovative ways on how to use urban space. The project began in 2005 when Rebar, a San Francisco art and design studio, converted a single metered parking space into a temporary public park in downtown San Francisco. Come out and see the temporary PARK that FAU’s School of Urban and Regional Planning is designing on Clematis Street this Friday!
This space is done in collaboration with FAU’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, WPB Downtown Development Authority, The City of WPB, Land Design South, Design Within Reach, Rocco’s Tacos, Starbucks and Lejobart.
