To be featured on the program Saturday, August 14th at 5 PM, are Rick Hawkins, cofounder of Localecopia and Mary Jo Aagerstoun, Cofounder and Board member of Northwood GREENlife. Hawkins and Aagerstoun discuss the two organizations’ initiative to create West Palm Beach’s first Green Restaurant Row, in collaboration with the city’s Sustainability Office and CRA. Hawkins explains Localecopia’s leadership role in bringing local farmers specializing in comestibles together with local chefs to encourage sustainable food production, reduction of carbon footprint and creativity in local food establishments’ extensive use of local products.
